While the ANSI Grade 1 rating (found on the Hercular®) represents the highest level of security, the ANSI Grade 2 rating of the Cronus® is a commercial-grade certification that is vastly superior to the standard Grade 3 hardware found on most homes. A Grade 2 lock is tested to withstand substantial force and must endure 150,000 opening and closing cycles—more than enough for a lifetime of residential use.
